Play Spot – Smart Office

The Play Spot system is a complete tool for organizing work at a time when the hybrid work system dominates in many places. It offers an employee search engine, the ability to book desks or co-working spaces, search for conference rooms, and convenient navigation maps to selected locations inside the building.

In addition, it allows renting or sharing parking spaces, reporting defects that occur in the office, receiving parcels, as well as checking and replacing business phones, changing tires in the season and many more.

Technology

The Play Spot system has been developed over the years as a system combining various technological and architectural solutions. Some of the application modules are created in native languages for a given platform, and some using the Flutter environment.

Automatic Log in

Thanks to the use of automatic login mechanics based on headers provided by the network, employees are automatically logged in at the first launch of the application, regardless of their location.

Push Notifications

Whenever something exciting happens at the office or an employee wins a parking spot, push notifications are the fastest way to communicate that.

Rx and MVVM-C

The use of reactive programming (Rx) allows for almost immediate updating of data on individual screens, without the need to reload the application. On the other hand, the MVVM-C (Model-View-ViewModel-Coordinator) architecture ensures the independence of application components and improves testability, which allows for quick implementation of new functions and minimizes maintenance costs.

Ideas behind the project

The mobile app is among the most efficient client interaction tools, so it has to address their individual needs and expectations.
